Flying 'M' Ranch - 2100ft. gravel runway, and a oneway strip that is nestled in the coast range west of Yamhill. Great food at the lodge, hiking and horseback riding. They usually hold a Rendevous there once or twice a year. The strip is no longer a public use airport and you need to secure permission to use it (not a problem, just sign a waiver the first time you go in).

I read with interest the report on the Flying "M" Ranch. I fly to the
Flying "M" on a weekly basis as they have a wonderful Sunday Brunch and it
is only a 6 minute flight for me. I have never heard of a waiver that a
person needs to sign to fly into there. They do have a Pilot Guest Book at
the desk that you have to ask for if you want to sign it. There has been a
few accidents there over the years. I don't consider the strip dangerous
but your proficiency needs to be good or above average. You have to be able
to make a spot landing near the approach end of the strip. A "floater" will
cause you grief.
