Pilot reports....Michael Kenslow writes ..... The Golden Cantina Restaurant on Rosamond Skypark (L00) I used to live a couple of blocks from this restaurant. I miss it dearly. It on a small airport about 10 miles south of Mojave California. And about 10 mile north of Lancater California. It's a great Mexican style restaurant. With an excellent view of the mountains. The airport, called Rosamond Skypark, is a combination fly-in community and public airport. The restaurant is right on the taxiway when you turn off at midfield and you can taxi straight in to it. The food is excellent. We went on a Sundays and it turns out they have an all-you-can-eat buffet on weekends for $8.95. This includes Belgian waffles to order, omelettes to order and a wide range of Mexican breakfast and non-breadfast foods. There were also some very good deserts like apple pie and chocolate cake. Enough variety for anyone I would imagine.
