No one should miss the Castle Air Museum at the old Castle Air Force Base. Just outside the main gate, near highway 99, you will see some of the best restorations of air power in the country. Land on the many-mile runway, taxi in to the large tie-down area, and go into Trajean FBO. Simply ask them for the free transportation to the air museum. Very friendly and very accomodating. They will also return you to your airplane. Admission to the outdoor museum is $5 for adults ($3 for seniors). Reduced prices for kids, too. Snack bar at the museum, also.
