Little River [O48] serves the resort towns of Albion and Mendocino, CA. The John Dougherty House in Mendocino is very nice. John is from North Carolina, and exemplifies southern hospitality. His wife is a Brit, and makes the best scones I have ever tasted. One block away from their house is the Wind & Weather store. You may have seen their catalogs. They sell all kinds of rain gauges, barometers, anemometers, etc.
